Innovation Loop — Support

Welcome! This page helps you install, use, and troubleshoot Innovation Loop, the companion app for the Autodesk Technology Engagement Center (ATEC) at CSUN.

Getting Started

  1. Install Innovation Loop from the App Store.
  2. Open the app and allow Camera access to enable QR scanning.
  3. Tap “Scan” to unlock areas around the ATEC building.
  4. Explore AboutActivitiesProfessions, and Inspiration content for each area.

Device & OS Requirements

  • iOS/iPadOS: 18.0 or later
  • Device: iPhone or iPad
  • Permissions: Camera required for QR code Scanning

Common Issues & Fixes

Camera won’t turn on

  • Go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera, enable access for Innovation Loop.
  • Quit and relaunch the app.

QR code doesn’t scan

  • Clean the camera lens and ensure good lighting.
  • Fill the viewfinder with the code and hold steady.
  • Try a different code to rule out print damage.

App feels slow or stuck

  • Close other apps, then force-quit and relaunch Innovation Loop.
  • Restart the device.

Reset my progress

  • Delete and reinstall the app to clear local, non-personal state (unlocked areas/progress).

FAQs

Do you collect personal data?
No. Innovation Loop doesn’t collect personal information. Camera input stays on-device for QR/AR. See our full policy below.

Can I use the app without camera access?
You can browse some content, but scanning requires the camera.

Is there a login?
No. The app doesn’t use accounts.

Accessibility

We aim to support large text and clear contrast. We plan to add voice features on the next versions of the app. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please email us with your device, iOS version, and steps to reproduce.
